Les Charmes is considered the second most prestigious Premier Cru in Chambolle-Musigny after the legendary Les Amoureuses. Domaine de la Pousse d'Or holds a tiny 0.188-hectare parcel with vines planted in 1982 on shallow soils over bedrock, at 260 to 280 metres with east-facing exposure.
Certified biodynamic under Demeter since 2018, the wine is made from 100% Pinot Noir, aged 15 months in oak (30% new) and bottled unfined and unfiltered. From such a minuscule parcel, this is an intimate, perfumed expression of one of Burgundy's most sought-after vineyards — silky, floral and ethereally elegant.
