A Premier Cru Chablis from Domaine Daniel Dampt et Fils, the fifth-generation family estate in Milly, sitting directly beneath the Côte de Léchet hillside. The domaine is now run by Vincent and Sébastien Dampt, working around 30ha across village, Premier Cru and Grand Cru sites.
Côte de Léchet is one of the stoniest and steepest Premier Cru sites in Chablis, with south-east-facing slopes on clay-limestone and Kimmeridgian soils. Expect aromas of citrus zest, white peach, green apple, delicate white flowers and a signature flint-and-stone minerality, leading into a taut, precise palate of lemon, grapefruit and saline drive, finishing long and chalky.
100% Chardonnay, hand-harvested from around 30-year-old vines and vinified entirely in stainless steel - true to the domaine's oak-free, terroir-first tradition.
Vintages may vary. Email us at hello@barrelandbatch.com.au if you would like confirmation.
