Pur Sang, meaning thoroughbred, is one of the estate's most celebrated cuvées. It is rich yet razor-sharp, with aromas of grapefruit, green apple and citrus, wet stone and a gentle smoky, toasty edge. The palate is powerful and textural, driven by intense minerality and bright acidity, finishing long and detailed.
A benchmark white of real seriousness, it is superb with oysters, shellfish, grilled fish and goat's cheese, and will also reward a few years in the cellar.
