Les Suchots is the largest Premier Cru in Vosne-Romanée at 13 hectares, sitting between the Grand Crus Echézeaux and Romanée-Saint-Vivant — arguably the most prestigious Premier Cru in the commune and a perennial candidate for Grand Cru elevation. Confuron-Cotetidot brings its distinctive winemaking to this exceptional site.
Made from 100% whole-cluster fermentation with no destemming, late-harvested for ripe stems, macerated for two to three weeks, and aged up to two years in barrel. The 2022 vintage was warm and balanced, and this wine delivers the sensual, silky character that defines Suchots — Asian spice, fine-grained tannins and an exceptionally long, discreet finish.
