Champagne De Saint-Gall is the label of Union Champagne, a collective of grower partners based in Avize, in the heart of the Côte des Blancs. The house specialises in Blanc de Blancs, and the wines are blended and made in the cooperative's own cellars from grapes sourced across the region's Grand Cru and Premier Cru villages.
This Brut Blanc de Blancs Premier Cru is made entirely from Chardonnay using the traditional method, with secondary fermentation in bottle and extended time on lees. It pours straw yellow with golden glints and a fine, lively bead. The nose shows ripe citrus, white flowers and gentle brioche notes from yeast ageing. On the palate, white-fleshed fruit and refreshing acidity meet a surprising creaminess, leading to a long, mineral finish.
Enjoy it as an aperitif.
