Cascina Luisin is a small, traditional estate in Barbaresco, farmed by the Minuto family for well over a century. Rabajà-Bas sits in the lower part of the famous Rabajà amphitheatre, giving a Nebbiolo of real depth, refinement and longevity.
Made with long macerations and ageing in large casks in the classic Piedmontese style, it is a layered, expressive Barbaresco. Look for aromas of cherry, raspberry and pomegranate, enriched with dried rose, violet, liquorice and a hint of tobacco and earth. The palate is powerful yet precise, with firm, fine-grained tannins, refreshing acidity and excellent length.
Approachable yet built to age, it pairs beautifully with braised meats, game, risotto and aged cheeses.
