Distilled from 100% Scottish barley and intensely peated to 108.2 PPM, Octomore 15.1 is a study in powerful peat balanced by complexity. Aged for five years in a mix of first-fill bourbon barrels and re-charred ex-bourbon casks, this expression delivers a layered depth with sweet vanilla custard, charred oak, and bold peat smoke. Acting as the core of the Octomore series, 15.1 provides a benchmark, showcasing the influence of heavy peat in its most unfiltered form.
