Bouchard Pere et Fils is one of Burgundy's historic houses, established in 1731 and known for its extensive holdings of prized vineyard sites. Chambertin Clos de Beze is among the greatest Grand Crus of the Cote de Nuits, lying in the commune of Gevrey-Chambertin and long regarded as a benchmark for powerful, structured Pinot Noir.
This is a deep, complex wine with an intense bouquet of red and black fruit, cherry and blackberry lifted by spice, liquorice and subtle earthy, savoury notes. The palate is rich and generous, with refined tannins, notable depth and impressive length.
Built for the cellar, it carries the structure and concentration to reward extended ageing.
