Ancient Age is a Kentucky Straight Bourbon distilled at the renowned Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, where it has been produced for generations. Built on a higher-rye mashbill, it carries a touch more spice and structure than many everyday bourbons while remaining wonderfully easy to drink.
The nose is gently sweet, with caramel, vanilla, sweet corn and a whisper of baking spice. The palate is soft and mellow, layering toffee, honeyed corn and light oak with a smooth, approachable texture.
The finish is clean and gentle, leaving lingering vanilla and a touch of warm oak. A genuine Kentucky classic, it is equally at home sipped over ice or as the backbone of a bourbon cocktail.
