Awarded a prestigious gold medal at the 2022 San Francisco International Spirit Challenge, Yuza First Edition marks the inaugural whiskey release from the nascent distillery established in 2017 in the town of Akumi, Yamagata region.

This premiere edition comprises a blend of single malts matured for three years in bourbon casks, meticulously chosen from those filled between November 2018 and January 2019, coinciding with the distillery's inception period. Bottled at cask strength, this whiskey highlights the nuanced flavors imparted by American oak barrels. Characterized by a "clear & airy" profile, the whiskey unfolds with an enticing bouquet of honey, vanilla, and apricot, offering a smooth and silky texture that captivates the palate.
