Floral notes abound, followed by raisins and light spices. Malty flavors open up on the palate, with soft honey sweetness at the finish. Wolfburn is the northernmost distillery in mainland Scotland, producing fine malts at the edge of the world. Wolfburn distillery has just one pair of Forsyth’s copper pot stills, but they’re about quality, not quantity. Every batch is distilled, matured and bottled by hand. Since being founded in 2013, they’ve managed to pick up nine awards for their single malts, including gold class at the World Whiskies Awards.
