Turner Stillhouse Rosevears Three Grain Bourbon Style Tasmanian Whiskey 500ml

Rosevears is the whisky label of Turner Stillhouse, named for the small Tamar Valley settlement in northern Tasmania where the distillery mills, mashes, distils and matures everything on site.

This Three Grain is a bourbon style whiskey, the first of its kind made in Tasmania. It is built from corn, rye and malted barley with pure Tasmanian water, then matured in large format new American oak casks that have been both toasted and charred.

The new oak does the heavy lifting, giving the sweet corn base a frame of vanilla, caramelised wood sugar and gentle spice, while the rye keeps a peppery edge running underneath. A genuinely different take on Tasmanian whisky from a state better known for its single malt.
