The Dalmore is a storied Highland distillery known for its rich, full-bodied single malts and its distinctive 12-pointed royal stag emblem. The Trio takes its name from the three different cask types used to craft it, bringing together ex-bourbon barrels, tawny port pipes and Matusalem sherry casks.
This layered maturation produces a whisky that is smooth and generous. The nose reveals caramelised orange, dark chocolate, sweet spice and dried fruit, while the palate is full and silky, with vanilla, honey, raisin, roasted almond and fine oak spice. The finish is elegant and gently spiced, with lasting notes of sherry, caramel and oak.
Deep in flavour yet approachable in style, The Dalmore Trio showcases the house's signature marriage of orange and chocolate character. It is a rewarding dram to sip slowly.
