Taittinger Brut Réserve is the signature non-vintage Champagne of the Reims-based house. It is a blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, with Chardonnay making up a notably high share of the cuvée and lending the wine its trademark finesse and lightness.
In the glass it shows a golden yellow colour with a fine, consistent and lingering mousse. The nose is light and delicate, offering hints of fruit and brioche, while the palate is lean yet shows considerable depth and elegance before a long, fresh finish.
The house describes Brut Réserve as a Champagne for any moment, and an excellent aperitif. It is also recommended alongside canapés, smoked salmon and oysters. This edition comes presented in a Taittinger gift box.
