Sunchaser Agave Triple Sec is an orange liqueur with a difference, built on an agave base rather than the neutral grain or beet spirit that underpins most of the category.
Triple sec is the dry end of the orange liqueur family, taking its flavour from the peel of bitter and sweet oranges and keeping the sugar in check. Putting agave underneath adds a faintly earthy, vegetal note beneath the citrus that ordinary triple sec does not have.
That makes it a natural partner for tequila and mezcal, particularly in a margarita, where the base spirit and the modifier finally speak the same language.
