Spring Bay THE BEAST Limited Release Single Malt Whisky 500ml

This whisky comes from a 100L McWilliams Sherry cask with a medium char—an unexpected find after the move from Spring Beach to Cambridge. Aged for 5 years, it's one of the oldest 100L casks we've produced, as the coastal environment usually matures these quickly within 4 years. This one had its challenges too, being a bit of a secret leaker, losing more water than whisky. At a robust 70.9% ABV, it’s our highest natural cask strength to date, yet surprisingly smooth at this level. Sadly, only 58 bottles at 500mL were yielded. While I’m not a fan of 500mL bottlings, it’s a way to stretch these ultra-small releases just a little further.
