Savia Azul Reposado is a true expression of 100% blue agave from the volcanic lowlands of Jalisco, where mineral-rich soils and warmer conditions naturally develop brighter citrus, herbal, and peppery agave notes. The agave is slow-cooked to enhance depth and complexity, preserving natural sweetness while building a rich cooked agave character before extraction.
Fermentation is carried out using native airborne yeast, contributing subtle spice and gentle warmth that complements the fresh agave profile. After fermentation, the tequila undergoes double distillation in stainless steel, ensuring clarity and purity before resting in oak.
Rested for eight months in oak barrels, the tequila gains light touches of vanilla, soft spice, and subtle sweetness. The agave remains front and centre, supported by earthy minerality, herbal notes, and hints of citrus such as lime and orange peel. Oak influence is present but restrained, adding balance rather than dominance.
