An annata Chianti Classico from Villa Le Corti, the Corsini family estate in San Casciano in Val di Pesa at the heart of Chianti Classico. The Corsini connection to the property officially dates to 1363, with the Villa itself designed in the early 1600s by architect Santi di Tito. Today the estate is run by Duccio Corsini and family, and has farmed all its vineyards organically since 2015 (with some plots also worked biodynamically under the Fico Wines project).
Predominantly Sangiovese, in the classic Chianti Classico style. Expect a fresh, food-friendly, terroir-expressive Chianti Classico with bright red cherry, plum, dried herbs and a gentle earthy-mineral undertone, leading into a balanced, savoury palate with fine tannins, lively acidity and a clean, precise finish.
Hand-harvested from certified organic vineyards. Fermented in stainless steel and aged in a mix of large and small oak before bottling, with a focus on faithfully expressing the Chianti Classico terroir while respecting the environment and seasonality.
