Crafted from fully-ripe, intensely-flavoured, and structured Shiraz grapes, Grange is esteemed as one of the most consistent of the world’s premier wines. These markers, enriched with heady hints of aniseed, liquorice, wintergreen, and fennel, are underpinned by primal aromas of squashed damson plum. Beneath this complex bouquet, wafts of pan scrapings and pan juices provide a robust foundation. The 100% new oak is seamlessly integrated, contributing to the wine's complexity, intrigue, and layered character. In this aromatic interplay, the fruit remains paramount. Similar to the defining ‘Champagne character’, the ‘Grange character’ is instantly recognizable and unmistakable. Palate: The initial sip captivates, the second confirms. Foremost, red fruits and maraschino cherry flavors swiftly transition to deeper notes—Black Forest cake, blackberry, and black cherry.
