A wine from Manuel Cantalapiedra's personal project, a small-scale solo venture launched alongside his work at the family domaine, Cantalapiedra Viticultores in La Seca, Rueda. Manuel is a third-generation grower (and a trained classical pianist) known for taking an even more low-intervention approach with this project than the family wines, working only with his own vineyards.
Campanella is a red wine from old-vine Garnacha and Cariñena from the Toro area, vinified in Manuel's La Seca cellar. The result is a fragrant, fresh-styled red with notes of red and dark berries, dried herbs and a touch of spice, with the fine-grained tannins and energy that mark Manuel's hand.
Farming is organic with biodynamic practices, with hand harvesting, spontaneous fermentation using native yeasts and minimal sulfur additions. The wine is bottled unfiltered.
