Maison Advinam Allumee Orange 750ml

L'Allumée is the skin-contact orange wine from Maison Advinam, Anne Buiatti's natural wine house in Saint-Morillon in the Graves of Bordeaux. Farming organically and biodynamically, Buiatti works largely by hand and bottles with no additives or added sulphur.

A blend of Sémillon, Sauvignon Blanc and Muscadelle, the wine spends around two months on skins before ageing in amphora and old oak. The skin contact gives it the texture, gentle grip and burnished colour that define the orange style.

The nose is floral and inviting, leading to grapefruit, beeswax and lemon verbena on the palate, with notes of peach and soft citrus. It is fleshy and structured, fresh and saline, with a light, balancing bitterness on the finish.
