Domaine Jean-Louis Chavy is a family estate at the heart of Puligny-Montrachet, one of the most revered white wine villages in Burgundy, with a history stretching back to the early nineteenth century. Les Charmes is a village lieu-dit lying close to the Meursault boundary, a position that lends the wine both presence and generosity.
Made entirely from Chardonnay, it is pale gold in the glass with aromas of ripe orchard fruit, citrus and white flowers, underpinned by a gentle nutty, buttery richness. The palate is rounded and textured, its ripe stone fruit flavours balanced by a fine seam of minerality and bright acidity that keeps the finish fresh and precise.
A refined and characterful expression of white Burgundy that drinks beautifully now and will continue to develop over the coming years.
