Erdinger Weissbier Hefe German Wheat Beer 5.3% 12 Pack Bottles 500ml

Erdinger Weissbier comes from the Erdinger Weissbräu brewery in the Bavarian town of Erding, north-east of Munich, which has been dedicated to brewing wheat beer since 1886. Today it is the largest wheat beer brewery in the world, and this classic Hefe is its signature beer.

Brewed according to the Bavarian Purity Law of 1516 with wheat malt, barley malt, hops and yeast, it is bottle fermented to develop its fine carbonation and naturally cloudy appearance. It pours a hazy golden yellow with a thick, creamy head. The aroma and palate offer fresh, fruity notes of banana and a hint of spice, with a full, smooth body and a refreshing, gently sweet finish.

Pour slowly into a tall weizen glass, swirling the last of the beer to include the yeast. It is excellent with Bavarian dishes such as Weisswurst and pretzels, as well as seafood, salads and grilled chicken.
