This exceptional rum owes its unique character to a 12-month final maturation in rare and old barrels that previously held prized botrytic Sauternes wine from the esteemed Chateau Clos Haut-Peyraguey – Grand Cru Classé 1855. The result is a beautifully golden rum, imbued with a complex, silky smooth texture and a rich aromatic and flavor profile mirroring the mature, delicately sweet wine.
AROMA: Rich with notes of freshly blooming flowers, gradually unfolding to reveal layers of fresh fruit before the initial sip.
PALATE: Luxuriously silky and alluring, highlighted by a fruity freshness with nuances of blueberries, cherries, and a hint of iris. The delicate finish features chocolate notes accented by traces of frangipane pudding.
