This Dark Cherry Ripe barrel builds on that classic profile with remarkable depth and viscosity, bringing layers of dark fruit, chocolate and oak to the fore.
Nose: Elegant and unmistakably Eagle Rare, with dark cherry and blackcurrant rising first over polished oak, vanilla pod and caramel, before dark chocolate and toasted coconut evoke a Cherry Ripe, rounded out by tobacco leaf and a touch of orange peel.
Palate: Silky and beautifully structured, with ripe black and Morello cherry enveloped in velvety dark chocolate and roasted cocoa, while classic caramel, vanilla and gentle baking spice weave through mature seasoned oak for a wonderfully dry complexity.
Finish: Long, elegant and oak-driven, dark cherry fading into bittersweet cocoa, leather, tobacco and well-seasoned American oak, with cinnamon and clove lingering beneath echoes of dark chocolate and mature barrel character.
