Clos des Rosés is a monopole of Domaine Rougeot — a walled enclosure just below the village of Pommard, bordered on three sides by stone walls and on the fourth by the small stream L'Avant Dheune. This is a village-level Pommard made without any added sulphur, bottled under the "Nature" designation.
Pierre-Henri Rougeot vinifies with 100% whole-cluster fermentation, 15 to 18 days of maceration, and ages the wine 12 to 18 months in neutral barrels — unfined and unfiltered, as is standard across this Demeter-certified biodynamic domaine. The result is a Pommard with depth and spice but already-softened tannins — more approachable than the appellation's typically firm style.
