Les Plumes — meaning "feathers," referencing the wine's finesse — is a 0.60-hectare lieu-dit on the plains below Meursault, farmed biodynamically by Domaine Rougeot since 2021. Bottled as "Nature" (Sans Sulfite Ajouté), this Aligoté sees zero added sulphur at any stage of production.
Fermented with native yeasts in barrel, unfined and unfiltered, this is a light-bodied, precise and mineral Aligoté with taut acidity and a featherlight touch. From Pierre-Henri Rougeot's eighth-generation, Demeter-certified biodynamic domaine, it showcases what Burgundy's "other" white grape can achieve when handled with this level of care and conviction.
