Domaine Rougeot is a five-generation family estate in Meursault, farming certified organic and biodynamic vineyards across the Côte de Beaune. Pierre-Henri Rougeot favours a minimal-intervention approach, fermenting with native yeasts and bottling without fining or filtration.
Les Plumes is the domaine's Bourgogne Aligoté, sourced from vines close to the family home in Meursault and aged in barrel. It shows a mid-lemon colour and a natural, slightly nutty nose, followed by a palate full of energy, with ripe citrus and fresh green apple carried by lively acidity through to a lingering finish.
A terrific aperitif and a natural partner for oysters, gougères, grilled fish or goat's cheese.
Vintages may vary. Email us at hello@barrelandbatch.com.au if you would like confirmation.
