An entry-level but artisanal Chardonnay from Domaine Naturaliste, the Margaret River estate founded in 2012 by winemaker Bruce Dukes in the Wilyabrup sub-region. Named for the nearby Leeuwin-Naturaliste Ridge, the estate was named Best Value Winery in Australia by the Halliday Wine Companion in 2020.
A fresh, balanced Margaret River Chardonnay with bright citrus, green apple and white stonefruit, gentle nutty complexity and a clean, mineral-driven finish. Lees work brings a creamy texture without masking the fruit, giving a wine that sits above its price point in detail and drinkability.
Fermented and matured in French oak (mostly second-use and older), with around 7 months on fine lees to build texture. Sustainable, minimal-intervention farming, with an artisanal, hands-on approach in the cellar.
