0.30ha parcel planted in 1958 on soils of clay and limestone with silt. Located on the
northern heights of the village, this vineyard has one of the best locations for Gevrey village
wines. The soil is quite shallow with a fine structure, so it gives a wine with the power of the
Gevrey, but with a very elegant texture and tannin structure. The tannins are very caressing,
with good concentration and nice freshness. It often gives good complexity of dark red fruit
characters.
Fine mid purple. The nose is on the reticent side. Some dark strawberry and cherry fruit begins to show, more
the latter on the palate. Pleasing supple fruit across the palate with an adequate structure combining refined
tannins, and just enough acidity.
