Domaine Henri Boillot is one of the most respected names in white Burgundy, based in the Cote de Beaune and celebrated for precise, expressive Chardonnay. Les Poruzots is a premier cru site in Meursault, a village renowned for producing some of the world's finest and most opulent dry whites.
Barrel-fermented and matured on its lees, this Meursault is rich and layered, opening with aromas of white peach, ripe citrus and pear alongside notes of hazelnut, toasted almond and subtle wood spice. A gentle flintiness adds intrigue to the bouquet.
The palate is generous and textural, with concentrated stone fruit and citrus flavours carried by a creamy mid-palate and a fine seam of minerality. Balanced acidity brings freshness and drive to a long, nutty, savoury finish.
Vintages may vary. Email us at hello@barrelandbatch.com.au if you would like confirmation.
