From one of the Cote de Beaune's most admired estates, Domaine Henri Boillot's Corton-Charlemagne is a Grand Cru white of grandeur and depth. Grown on the famed slopes of the hill of Corton, it represents the summit of the domaine's white wine range.
Powerful, dense and supple, it unfolds with aromas of ripe apple, quince and apricot, joined by floral notes, crushed rock, citrus confit and a whisper of butter. The palate is richly textured and concentrated, with graphite and mineral detail building through a commanding, long finish.
A wine built for the cellar, it rewards patience and pairs handsomely with lobster, veal and mature hard cheeses.
