Domaine De La Pousse D'Or Gevrey Chambertin Perriere 1ER Cru 2020 750ml

A decidedly earthier and more sauvage-inflected nose reflects very fresh notes of poached plum and wild dark cherries. The delicious, vibrant and attractively textured flavors are on the lighter side though I quite like the firm but fine-grained tannins supporting the nicely long finale.

Classic vibes reverberate from every part of this wine… seamless, calming, caressing. The balance is striking - encountering wines such as this brings a cerebral element to their enjoyment, and can set one on a path to pursue the magic that is Burgundy
