Domaine Antoine Jobard is one of Meursault's most respected white-wine houses, but the family also farms a small holding of Pinot Noir in nearby Pommard. The Jobard style is precise and quietly serious, with restrained whole-bunch use, modest new oak and a focus on letting site speak.
The 2023 Pommard shows the village's denser, more structured character. Poached plum, dark cherry and turned earth lead, with a fine spicy lift from a careful, low-percentage new oak élevage. The palate is generous and velvet-textured, with a firm but ripe tannic frame and enough freshness to keep things balanced; the finish lingers savoury and pure.
Ready to drink with a little air now, or worth holding through the medium term; pair with roast lamb, slow-braised game, mushroom risotto or aged Burgundian cheeses.
