In French, the term "Sur le Crete" translates to “on the ridge", the wine named for the single site up on the crest of Red Hill in Mornington Peninsula where the wine hails from. This rare venture outside of the Yarra has proven to be very fruitful for Shaun Crinion. The richer, more powerful style of Pinot Noir from Red Hill delivers Shaun one of his finest red wines to date. A gentle touch in the winery allows the vineyard to shine. The purity of fruit is a real feature of this wine, so too is its power and incredible peacock tail finish. It's a class act Pinot Noir from one of the most keenly-watched Victorian producers on the rise.
