Courvoisier is one of the great houses of Cognac, with a heritage steeped in French savoir-faire and a long association with the courts of Europe. XO Royal is a luxurious extra old expression, a blend of aged eaux-de-vie crafted to honour the rich, spiced style once favoured by royalty.
It shows a radiant amber colour and an opulent nose of summer blossom, dark cherry and ripe plum, layered with vanilla, honey and a touch of oak and spice. The palate is rich and full-bodied, with toasted hazelnut, caramel, subtle honey and warm cinnamon, leading into a long and powerful finish.
