An easy-drinking, varietal Sauvignon Blanc from the Pays d'Oc IGP in the south of France. Côte Lavande is a Southern French range produced out of Château Canet, a 19th-century estate in the Minervois region of the Languedoc run by the Lemstra family and farmed under the sustainable HVE level 3 certification.
Grown in the Languedoc's limestone, clay and gravel soils under a warm Mediterranean climate, this is a fresh, aromatic style of Sauvignon Blanc. Expect lifted aromas of spring blossom, lemon, lime zest and ripe citrus, leading into a ripe, fruit-driven palate with grapefruit, stonefruit and a lively, thirst-quenching finish.
The fruit is picked early to preserve natural acidity and aromatic intensity, then gently pressed and cool-fermented in stainless steel tanks before bottling young to keep the wine bright, zippy and fresh.
