Caroline Morey is one of the Côte de Beaune's most talented growers, producing refined, low-intervention wines from her family vineyards. This Santenay Rouge is a lovely example of her style, a Pinot Noir that offers immediate charm while retaining the structure to age gracefully.
It is vibrant and red-fruited, with aromas of sour cherry, red currant and a floral hint of rose petal over fresh herbs. Light and graceful on the palate, it shows wild strawberry and raspberry flavours held by soft, finely woven tannins, with bright acidity and a gentle, earthy minerality lending clarity and length.
