This eighth edition of the Islay Barley series offers a fresh take on Islay’s barley-forward style. Distilled in 2013 from barley grown in 2012 by seven island farmers, it’s unpeated and aged for a minimum of eight years in a mix of first-fill American whiskey casks and ex-European casks. Expect a harmonious balance of flavours, with honeyed porridge and lemon meringue pie leading the charge. Each release reflects subtle nuances from its growing season, delivering a maritime-citrus twist that fans love. Bottled at 50% ABV, this whisky remains non chill filtered.
