Bouchard Pere et Fils Gevrey Chambertain 2019 750ml

The Pinot Noir grapes come from vineyards located on Triassic limestone soils, with marls and disintegrated stones, rich in minerals. After vinification, the wine rests for about a year in French oak barrels (of which about 70% are used).

Gevrey Chambertin Bouchard Pere & Fils is an elegant wine with good aging potential. It has a clear and bright color with dark red tones and some garnet nuances. On the nose, the wine reveals a fragrant aromatic profile with notes of red fruit, undergrowth berries, and a subtle animal vein. On the palate, the wine has a good structure and fine and well-integrated tannins. It is soft and has a pleasant finish that recalls some spicy hints. It pairs elegantly with grilled red meats and is also excellent for a rich board of cheeses and cured meats.
