Benromach 15 Year Old Single Malt Malt Scotch Whisky 700ml

The longstanding ambition of John Urquhart and successive generations of the Urquhart family to own and manage a distillery materialized in 1993 with the acquisition of Benromach Distillery in Forres. At the time of purchase, the distillery was in a state of significant disrepair, with all fixtures and fittings having been removed and sold by the previous proprietors. Leveraging generations of expertise in the whisky industry, the distillery was meticulously re-equipped and restored, culminating in its official reopening by HRH Prince Charles in 1998.

Benromach single malt whisky is crafted using the finest Scottish barley and the purest spring water sourced from the nearby Romach Hills. The distilling team ensures that only the highest quality spirit is selected and filled into robust oak casks, where it is left to mature for many years at the distillery.

The whisky is matured in a selection of ex-bourbon and ex-Sherry casks, resulting in a spirit that boasts fruity, smoky, and spicy characteristics. It is bottled at a strength of 43% ABV.
