Angove Vineyard Select Barossa Valley Shiraz comes from Angove Family Winemakers, one of Australia's oldest and most successful family-owned wineries, founded in 1886 and now in the hands of the fifth generation. The Vineyard Select range is Angove's regional showcase series, with each wine drawn from premium vineyards within a single named region to capture that area's signature character. This release turns to the Barossa Valley, one of the country's most celebrated homes for Shiraz.

Made from Barossa Valley Shiraz, the wine reflects the warm, generous style the region is known for. Expect a deeply coloured, full-bodied red built around ripe dark fruit, with blackberry and plum lifted by notes of spice and a savoury, cedary edge. The palate is plush and rounded, supple tannins carrying the fruit through to a long, warming finish.

The fruit is sourced from vineyards across the Barossa Valley and made to emphasise regional expression, with time in oak adding structure and a subtle layer of spice before bottling.
