Amrut Neidhal is a peated single malt from Amrut, the pioneering Indian distiller that helped put the country's whisky on the world map. Part of the Single Malts of India range, Neidhal offers a peated style with a distinctly maritime, coastal feel.
The nose brings smoky peat layered with tropical fruit, coconut, gentle vanilla and a briny, seaweed-like salinity. On the palate, soft phenols and a touch of iodine mingle with ripe fruit, green pear, warm spice and oak, leading to a medium finish of sweet vanilla and a whisper of ginger.
