Woodstock is one of Australia's best known bourbon and cola premixes, built around genuine Kentucky bourbon and now part of the Asahi Beverages portfolio. The bourbon at its core is distilled and matured in the United States before being blended and packaged locally for the Australian market, where the brand has long been a fixture of the dark spirits ready-to-drink category.
This is the Superior expression, sitting at the stronger end of the Woodstock lineup and built for drinkers who want more bourbon character in the glass. Expect a robust, full flavoured mix with vanilla, dark fruit and grain notes from the whiskey, oak and a touch of sour barrel char through the middle, and cola sweetness carrying the finish. The extra strength gives it noticeably more depth and bourbon presence than the lighter versions in the range.
The bourbon is distilled in Kentucky and matured in genuine American white oak barrels, which is where the vanilla and toasted oak character comes from, before being mixed with cola. It is produced in Australia and sold chilled and ready to drink straight from the can.
