Vedrenne Triple Sec Liqueur White Curacao 25% 5L

Vedrenne has been making liqueurs at Nuits-Saint-Georges in the heart of Burgundy since 1923, surrounded by the orchards that supply much of its fruit. It is now one of France's leading producers of fruit and cocktail liqueurs, with a range built specifically for bartenders.

This is the white curacao, better known as triple sec. It is colourless and clean, with an aroma of sweet orange peel lifted by mandarin. The palate is direct and precisely focused on bitter orange, aromatic and balanced rather than sugary, with fresh clementine and a hint of grapefruit through the middle.

The finish is refreshing, closing on a touch of zesty bitterness that stops it cloying. A genuine workhorse behind the bar and the correct choice for a margarita, a sidecar, a cosmopolitan or a mai tai, where it needs to add orange lift and structure without dominating.
