Sylvain Cathiard Gevrey Chambartain 2022 750ml

From the lieu-dit of Champs Franc directly below the village of Gevrey-Chambertin. This parcel is newly leased by Sebastien Cathiard with 2019 being the first vintage. All vineyard work is carried out by Sebastien's vineyard team. The tannins in this wine are notably very fine. Located below the village the vineyard where some clay over the limestone base is more prominent.

'Bright mid crimson. Starts on the leaner side before some riper fruit with a floral topnote starts to emerge. Then a pure strawberry fruit of medium density, a few tannins from the wood, then a clean long finish with acidulated fresh red fruit.
