This 10-year-old Port is a blend of high-quality grapes, including Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, and Tinta Roriz, grown on the steep slate and granite slopes of the Douro Valley. It is aged in seasoned oak casks for an average of at least ten years, a process that gradually replaces youthful fruit characteristics with complex, mellow notes of spice and wood.
The wine presents a warm, golden-brown color with amber reflections. The aroma reveals an elegant and intense bouquet of dried fruits such as apricots and figs, harmoniously combined with nutty scents of walnuts, almonds, and a hint of caramel and vanilla. On the palate, it is exceptionally rich and balanced, offering a velvety texture with flavors of licorice, fruit jam, and ripe red berries. The finish is long, elegant, and persistent, leaving a dry aftertaste of toasty oak and spices.
