Plantation Venezuela 2010 Vintage 700ml

Plantation Venezuela, distilled in 2010, underwent a rigorous aging process for a total of 12 years. Initially aged for 8 years in ex-bourbon barrels in the cellars of Destilería Sofa, 22 barrels were carefully selected by Alexandre Gabriel for transportation to Javrezac in the Charente region of France. There, the rum was aged for an additional 4 years in Ferrand French oak casks, utilizing a double ageing technique characteristic of the Plantation signature style. This method imbued the spirit with a deep and complex flavor profile, showcasing the unique and expressive qualities of the 12-year-old Venezuelan rum. The final result is a bold and assertive rum that amply reflects the rich terroir of Venezuela and the exceptional expertise of the craftsmen at Destilería Sofa.
