Morris Classic Tawny is a richly flavoured fortified wine from one of Australia's most celebrated winemaking families. Crafted in Rutherglen, Victoria, from a blend of Shiraz, Grenache and Mataro, it draws on over 165 years of tradition established by the Morris family since 1859.
On the nose, expect inviting aromas of Christmas cake, honeyed walnuts and marzipan, with subtle, well-integrated brandy spirit notes. The palate is full flavoured yet elegant, delivering layers of raisin, honey and caramel alongside vanilla bean and nutty overtones. The finish is dry and lingering, with walnut, honey and marzipan carrying through beautifully.
Part of the Morris Classic Range, this tawny emphasises freshness and varietal character balanced by gentle complexity gained from time spent in oak barrels. A versatile fortified wine at 17.5% ABV, it pairs wonderfully with cheese, dried fruits or enjoyed on its own after dinner.
