Johnnie Walker Blue Label Festive Blend is a limited edition blended Scotch whisky created to celebrate India's festive season. It is the second release in Johnnie Walker's creative partnership with acclaimed Indian couturier Rahul Mishra, following the inaugural festive edition, and it arrives in a vibrant bottle and gift box design inspired by contemporary Indian design and the country's celebrations.
The blend was crafted by Johnnie Walker Master Blender Dr Emma Walker, drawing on some of the rarest whiskies from the house's reserves of more than ten million ageing casks. As with all Blue Label, only around one cask in every ten thousand is considered to have the depth of character required for the blend.
Dr Walker layered aromatic notes of cardamom, clove and cinnamon over Blue Label's signature smooth sweetness. Expect fragrant cardamom and saffron, delicate rosewater and bright citrus, followed by honeyed richness and chocolate-dipped fruit, all balanced by warm spice and a gentle wisp of smoke.
Johnnie Walker developed this blend to complement the richness and diversity of Indian cuisine and the festive table.
